There are 3 types of leadership styles followed by the managers. The managers conduct a number of procedures to understand the type of leadership style they need to use to handle their workforce. All the employees want a different kind of work environment. There are many different types of workers with different needs. All the managers need to make sure they choose the right style of leadership for their company. The style of leadership also depends on the number of workers or the style of planning.

Here are a few styles of leadership to help you choose the right one.

1) Autocratic Leadership

One of the most common styles of leadership is Autocratic leadership. This style of leadership is usually chosen by managers who want to keep the business under their control. The leaders, in this case, don’t like to delegate power to their employees, they don’t pass the authority to their employees. they like to lead their employees without giving them any authority in the business. The employees are only supposed to do their tasks and contribute towards the success of the business. There are multiple benefits and drawbacks of this style of leadership. This style of leadership is helpful for small businesses because the tasks can be carried out easily and it also helps in maintaining the secrecy of the business. However, this style of leadership can discourage the employees, they might leave the job if they want to practice leadership skills.

2) Free Rein

The second style of leadership is Free Rein. The leaders in this style of leadership give full authority to their employees. This style of leadership is usually practiced by the companies with experts. Experts a given special treatment at the workplace with a freedom to do anything they want.

3) Democratic Leadership

The third style of leadership is Democratic leadership Leaders in this style of leadership like to delegate power to their employees. The leaders allow their subordinates to have a say in the decision-making process. They also give them the authority to complete the tasks of the business. This style of leadership motivates the workers and lets them practice their skills at work. It is also helpful for growing or large businesses. However, this style of leadership can lead to too much of interference in the decisions of the business. The secrecy will also be compromised.
